Today is day 16 of my cycle and I got a questionable reading on my OPK. The test color band is wide on the Inverness brand. Half of the line (lengthwise) was as dark if not slightly darker than than the band in the control window. While the other half was lighter than the band in the control window. I called Inverness and was told that any portion of the test line that is as dark or darker is in fact a positive. Has anyone heard of this before? Also, I am on very regular 28 day cycle. Why would I just now get a surge on day 16?
