Good evening, I am concerned because my menses was shorter this month....my last menses was May 1st and it was as always 5 days with two spotting.....a bit of history about this month..... I had Ovulation temp dip the weekend of Mothers Day we had relations. About 6 days post ovulation, I had a very sharp cramp for a few seconds...followed by intense nauseation....and the usual pg symptoms...my temp spiked to 99.4 and stayed in the 99s for several days....at 12dpo I had extreme cramps that I almost fainted 3 times...I started sweating and I was burning up during these cramps.....at 13dpo I had a blood test done and I took a hpt which were both negative.....I started on cd 27...and upon waking and throughout today I had no more heavier bleeding just a few spots....I am going to be 38 next week. Do you think that my shorter cycle this time can be related to that? I am very concerned because I want to have another one...we have twice had relations the very day I ovulated and it failed.....how long should I try before going back to my obgyn? why is it not happening since I know the day I am ovulating? I know I am focusing alot on symptoms so I am not temping this cycle to see if that will alleviate stress....thanks for your thoughts.......Valerie
