Re: pain in lower right side

I used clomid to get pregnant 3 times. It worked but did cause me a great deal of pelvic pain and bloating. The pain around ovulation was so bad this time that the doctor sent me for an u/s and everything looked within normal ranges (even though it felt like my ovary must be the size of a grapefruit ha-ha-ha!). One thing I had read is that ovulation (particularly that stimulated with clomid) causes a dramatic increase in blood supply to the ovary so that may be some of the pain beyond the follicle stuff etc. I found the pain became much worse the few days before ovulation and was very bad for a couple hours around the time I am sure I ovulated (based on OPK and BBT). It got much better after that but the bloating stayed... (maybe because I got pregnant). I used OPK too which was a good thing since I didn't ovulated until CD17. I think I started testing on CD12. I took the clomid days 5-9. I hope it works for you without too much discomfort.
