sonogram after miscarriage? Unfortunately, I did miscarry on Sunday, May 27th. Severe cramping for a couple of hours along with the passing of the sac and some tissue. Monday was very light, but Tuesday things picked up and Wednesday was actually my worst day with tons of bleeding and cramping. My dr appointment was Wednesday afternoon (yesterday) and I was feeling much better at the time. He only spoke with me about the whole situation and said that it didn't sound like a d&c was necessary. My concern and question is should he have examined me or done a sonogram in the least to be certain that things were progressing or is it ok to just "let nature take its course". I began bleeding heavily again tonight and passed the largest clump of tissue so far and I want to be certain that my doctor has taken the right course of action. We want to try again in a few months and want to be certain that my body is ready.
