pain in lower right sideFrom: arlene (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 31 May 2001 18:19:22 -0500 (CDT)
I just finished my first dose of Clomid and I am currently waiting to see if ovulation will come. I was diagnosed with PCOS in January and I am currently on 2000mg of Metformin. I haven't had a period since coming off the Pill in July, having been on in since 1993 in an effort to regulate my periods and hormones. My question is this: A day or two after starting my Clomid, I noticed a slight pain in my lower right side. I don't remember ever feeling this. It's not horribly painful, just uncomfortable enough for me to remember I have it. I was wondering, could this be my stimulated follice growing? I know I'm not ovulating yet, since I just stopped Clomid yesterday. Also, my OB told me to start using my OPK on cycle day 12, although he told me O usually takes place 5-8 days after the last pill. Do I use it everyday? Is this too early to start? They are fairly expensive and I would like to conserve them. Thanks...-Arlene
