Cosmetics/hairsprayFrom: Christy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 31 May 2001 15:49:33 -0500 (CDT)
Hello, I've noticed cosmetics contain many chemicals. For example Propylene Glycol (which is considered safe in cosmetics yet the MSDS lists it as stuff you don't want to be around). Also the first ingredient in hairspray is Denatured alcohol. This is stuff you intentionally spray on your head. Some will always get inhaled. This is alcohol puposely poisoned with methanol etc..so you won't drink it. Will inhaling this stuff be poisonus to the developing baby? I've used this without a second thought up until now, but I have to wonder, maybe I should not have? Should I discontinue use? Thanks you.
