Here is how the OPK worked for me.... I used an OPK for this pg. It showed positive the morning of CD17 (only day it was positive - I did not test after the + result because the directions indicated that was not necessary. I had a BBT shift the very next morning - CD18 - so I must have ovulated late CD17 (corresponding with sharp increase in pain too). I think the test instructions say that ovulation will occur between 18-36 hours after the surge is first detected. My doctor had me do BBT so he could confirm ovulation occurred after the LH surge (It's FREE!!). Good luck. I think they have an 800 number on the test package too if you have questions.
