A different experience... I was induced with my first and the
contractions started out very mildy and increased gradually during the
day. It was very manageable and I did not need drugs until the very end
when I started to push. With my 3rd I went into labor on my own and the
contractions started out really strong right from the start and I was in
great pain - asked for an epidural but the anesthesiologist did not get
to my room in time. Good luck!
