Jasmine....do you want to hear something funny? After your baby is born, and you feel that INTENSE love [a love you'll never feel so strongly for anything/anybody else], you gradually forget all of the discomforts. In fact, you'll love that baby so much that you'll say, 'You were worth it!' After awhile, you forget the pain of labor and delivery, you forget the morning sickness, your forget the terrible fatigue. You'll still talk about it from time to time and say "It was awful"...but then one fine day you'll find yourself "craving" another baby. I have only met a couple of women who didn't crave another baby later [before they completed their families]. Most women, including myself, even though we may have suffered immeasurably during pregnancy and birth, actually TRY to get pregnant again! [are we crazy?? hahaha...] I tried for eight years before finally getting pregnant with this one, and tried for TWELVE years between my daughter and my son! And it was funny - but when I started to get sick with this one, I said, "Oh my gosh, what the heck was I thinking??" hehehehee....but seriously, I can hardly wait to hold this wee little thing in my arms and nurse again and enjoy that intense unbelievably strong love that you feel for that precious new life. Jasmine, you will find that it WAS all worth it. I hope you feel better soon, and I hope I do, too. :o)
