Being induced at 39 weeks tomorrow...what to expectFrom: Janet (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 31 May 2001 11:24:01 -0500 (CDT)
Hi, I noticed there are quite a few messages on inducing but none have really answered my concerns. I am being induced tomorrow. this is my 4th child and none of my others were induced except during labor when it slowed down or stopped. I have high blood pressure, asthma and hypothyroidism. My labors with the others were, 10 1/2 hours for the first child, 17 1/2 hours for the second, and 24 hours for the third. The pattern doesn't look so good huh? I am only dialated 1cm and not effaced. I am so worried about a labor even longer than 24 hours. any words of hope or suggestions to prepare me for tomorrow? thanks so much for all you time and your help in this matter. Janet
