timing of ultrasoundFrom: Bekka (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 31 May 2001 06:16:12 -0500 (CDT)
Where I live I am not offered ultrasound until 20 weeks. I'm 11 weeks now. Two close friends of mine have had severe abnormalities diagnosed at this late stage which is v traumatic. I would like to pay for an earlier ultra sound for peace of mind. At what stage is it possible for an ultra sound to be effective in detecting severe abnormalities? thank you Becka (I've checked archives).
