Meredith, I am so sorry about what happened--was it your regular OB who looked at the ultrasound or a radiologist? I would suggest getting a copy of the US report and possibly seeing another doctor. At my 18 week US they couldn't see all four chambers of the heart, the spine or the umbilical cord to tell whether or not it had 3 vessles. My doctor ordered another US for 6 weeks later. Waiting was horrible! I hope you find someone to help you. FWIW-everything was fine with my son on the next ultrasound.
