1. Is "gestational trophoblastic disease" a molar pregnancy?

2. If so, wouldn't the pathologist have picked this up after the d&c (also a fetus was seen with a h/b at 8w6d - if there is a fetus can you have a molar pg)?

3. Also, would my numbers have dropped the way they did (based on the blood tests I had, by 50% every two days) if I had a molar pregnancy?

4. If this could be something serious, I would want to call my dr; however, I don't want to look silly if its just my period about to start. Is it unusual to have this spotting/staining for 4-5 days without a period starting? Or is it typical to have this before resmption of a normal cycle?
