Breast Tender/Spotting - Miscarriage Began April 30From: anonymous@obgyn.netWed, 23 May 2001 22:50:25 -0500 (CDT)
I miscarried on 4/30/01. First day spotting: 4/21. Heavier bleeding began April 25, lasted 'till 5/15. On 5/3, to 5/6 I passed tissue. No spotting yesterday, but lifted a few heavy items, spotting (red) a little more today. Had an HCG done on 5/22 to ensure levels dropped to zero (last one 2 weeks ago was 140), however no results as of yet. Ultrasound results done on 5/9, revealed something 4 cm big and another on 5/11 showed it decreased to 2 cm. OB said something was seen behind my left ovary. She said it could possibly be endometriosis, cysts and or fibroids and possible ectopic. Would a 3rd ultrasound be justified in verifying that what they saw has decreased once again? I've scheduled an appointment with OB, however due to her short schedule appointment is only for June 4. If the red spotting continues for another 2 days or so should I go the Emergency and request an ultrasound? If the 2nd last HCG done was 2 weeks ago and it registered 140, would one still have tender breasts? Thanks so much for this wonderful site and helpful comments.
