I had lap/ov drilling and doc found PCO on left side but right side was fine. He now wants me to begin 50mg clomid, ultrasound and hcg injection I have taken 4 months of clomid previously and had one very early miscarriage. The clomid then stopped working for me.

Please can you give me an idea of %success rate on clomid/hcg?

Are my chances better now I've had the drilling?

What do you think are the factors for clomid's relatively low success rate for pregnancy?
