I don't know why it was recalled. i dont know if this is correct, but I was told that the white lotion looking agent was turning into a clear liquid in some of the more recent crinine. In other words, if the white gell came out looking like water, the tubes were defective. i am not a dr, and that is based on complete hearsay.
