LPD and endometrial biopsy resultsFrom: Amy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 22 May 2001 13:56:58 -0500 (CDT)
Hello! I was diagnosed with LPD a couple months ago, and I have a question about the endometrial biopsy results. They endometrial biopsy put me at cycle day 17 when I was actually on CD 21. Since there was a 4 day discrepancy, I was diagnosed with LPD. Now, if one has LPD, wouldn't, you suppose, the endometrial biopsy would detect the lining at being at a *later* date and the actual cycle date, not and *earlier* date, thus leadning to early menstruation? My luteal phase is generally long enough, but I have spotting suring the luteal phase, and difficulty getting pg. I'm currently on Clomid for only 3 days in my cycle, which my Dr. says is good treatment for LPD. Is this true? I've only heard of people taking it for 5 days? Thanks!
