I had a d&c on 4/27 at about 11 wks (no h/b detected; fetus appeared to be about 9w3d). I stopped bleeding after 2 days and had brown staining for about 2 weeks. At 2 1/2 weeks post-d&C (5/16), I had a follow-up appt which still showed an hcg level of 62. They did another follow-up 2 days later and it was 33. I have the following questions: 1. Is this dropping at a normal rate, or is this considered to be slow after a d&c? 2. I felt like I ovulated 2 wks after the d&c - is this possible since I still had hcg levels of 62+ at the time? Can you ovulate with hcg in your blood? 3. Will opks work if there is any hcg remaining in your blood? Thank you for any help; it is much appreciated. Alison Next message: cathy: "irregular?"
