I just delivered a baby and we had heard about many methods to dilate a cervix. The one that didn't have complications and was totally natural was evening primrose oil or borage seed oil. We tried the borage seed oil. My husband popped the pills and rubbed it internally before bedtime. Three days later at 37 weeks I was dilated to 3 and 50%. We got the pills at walmart for $4. Good luck!
