Ketones mean that you haven't eaten for a while. Ketones are a byproduct of breaking fats down into sugar and Ketones. If you were fasting since the night before, I would expect ketones.

My OB said that the baby >is getting all of the glucose. Is that bad?

I don't have any idea what that means.
