I had the same problem and the catheter didn't work, so they did a surgery called a marsupilization and I guess it makes a permanent place for it to drain. So far it has not resurfaced, so maybe you could ask your doctor about this. As for the cancer part, I was never told anything about that. Good luck! -- Amber Next message: R.
