last period was april 1st. on birth control. was due to start april 29th nothing happened. i did miss some pills and i know this can delay your period. on may 1st and 2nd i had some "barely there" spotting. and that was it. it is now may 19th and still nothing. my breast are extremely sore. i did take a hpt 2 weeks ago and another 1 week ago and both say negative. my gutt feeling is that i am not pregnant. How long should i wait before asking the doctor to "induce" my period. i have had to take provera in the past since my periods are normaly irregular.

p.s i stopped taking the pill when i didnt get my period, just incase i was pregnant.
