Daniel Braun, MD: "Re: 2nd term miscarraiges" Hello, I have had two second term miscarriages, the first one at 20 weeks and my last on at 24weeks. After the first one I was diagnosed with incompetent cervix. I had a cerclage in for this last one and still went into labor early and the drugs that were administered only stoped contractions for a few days. I was going to a high risk pregnancy Dr. and was being monitored very closely, but as of today they have no clue as to why this is happening because I had a normal first pregnancy with no problems at all and a healthy delivery. So far all of my blood work has come back normal, no infections or anything. I guess my question is what should I do if I were to decide to try again? What more tests should I have done, if any?
