It may not have completely passed, but be in the process of miscarrying.

I don't know what they are looking at. It may be that there is a sac in the uterus, and you haven't passed the tissue yet.

you may have some heavier vbleeding develop. The old addage is that there an infection may develop, but this isn't likely.
