Re: 'Making Babies' soon after Results Confirm MiscarriageFrom: anonymous@obgyn.netThu, 10 May 2001 23:54:50 -0500 (CDT)
Thank you Dr. Montgomery for your reply. May I please add that if I know I've already miscarried does this mean the onset of the spontaneous loss has already occurred? If this helps, my first test was 71, 2nd was 500, 3rd was 230, 4th was 228 and 5th was 144 and had an ultrasound May 9 where I was informed this was NOT a viable pregnancy. As far as I knew the HCG tests had already confirmed this? I was then requested to return for a second ultrasound May 11 and asked why. I was then informed (by the receptionist) that they seen something on the ultrasound (but it was not a sac) and wanted to ensure this "something" would be gone when I take my second ultrasound. Although I am still bleeding today (have been for the last 2 weeks), if my body feels it is ready for sexual activity what could I expect if I still engage in this activity if the reasons for wanting to engage in this activity is not simply to make love and not specifically to get pregnant? Looking forward to any comments. Thank you so much for your clarifications.
