I had a D&C on April 27 after learning that the baby had no hb on April 25th. I should have been about 11 wks at that point, but baby only measured 9 wks 3 days. I had an u/s on April 10th which showed a hb at 8 wks 6 days. I am no longer bleeding and have no other symptoms of pg (no sore breasts, nausea, etc)My questions are these: First, when will all hcg be out of my system? I thought my dr said it would be a week, but I've read elsewhere it can stay up to 11 wks. Second, when can we have intercourse? One doctor told me 3 wks, the other told me 2 wks. Third, if you conceive prior to having a normal period, is there a greater risk of m/c, or do drs just want you to wait b/c it's easier to date the pg. Thank you for any help you can give me. Alison
