# of days in cycle changedFrom: anon (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 9 May 2001 08:21:55 -0500 (CDT)
Hi, I have been off the pill for approx. 10 months now. I have been trying to conceive for 5 of those months. So far I have not been successful. This will be my first child and I am 28 years old. I have been tracking my cycles very closely since trying to conceive and I have noticed a gradual shortening of my cycles. Over the past five months my cycles have gone from 30-31 days down to 26 days. For the last two cycles it has been 26 days. I have used ovulation predictor kits for the past 3 months and always seem to peak with them around day 12-13. Do you think the shortening of my cycle signaled a probelm or do I just need to keep on trying to conceive - we've only been trying for 5 months. I had to have cryosurgery for dysplasia 5 months ago right before we started trying for a baby. Thanks
