My son is 8 months old and I just started my 1st period. I am bleeding more heavily than I ever have before. When I nurse him, I soak through a pad during a nursing session (5-20 minutes). The rest of the day I go through a pad in 1-2 hours. I know if you soak through more than a pad/hour you should call your doctor, but I'm thinkin that this may be normal because it's my first period. Should I call my doctor or wait another day to see if it improves?
