Is it common for a cerclage to be performed for twin pregnancies? My history- uterine septum removal, uterine polypectomy, 2 colposcopies, and recently had IVF/ICSI. Mother with possible DES use in the 1970s. All of my history has developed within the past year. Is it reasonable for me to ask for a cerclage? To have come this far and lose a pregnancy late in the game is not an option and I am willing to accept the risks of a cerclage procedure. What are your thoughts?
