I had a D&C a little over two weeks ago & am still bleeding (although not as much as I did initially) and passing what I believe to be large clots. Is this unusual? I went to my doctor for a post-op follow-up two days ago and, while she didn't seem overly concerned, she did appear to be frustrated. I didn't start bleeding until about 4 days after the D&C (and then it came on with a vengeance) and I've been bleeding steadily -- some days heavier than others -- since then. Should I be concerned, especially about still passing clots, or need to worry about having to go back in for a follow-up D&C? Any information would be much appreciated!
