One tube openedFrom: Sam (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 30 Apr 2001 23:16:45 -0500
I have been trying to conceive for about 6 yrs. I've had HSG done in October of last year which revealed left tube was not spilling the dye ( Blocked ) and the right was filling half way but no spillage their either. A Laparascopy was done and polyps were removed. Another HSG was done and that revealed the right tube was now open and the left was still blocked. Dr. prescribed Clomid and something to enduce my period because it's irregular. What are the odds of getting pregnant now that one tube is open? Dr. feels this is a step ahead, and clomid should help in getting me to ovulate. My chances of getting pregnant are higher now right? Since one tube is now open? My question: What causes polyps to develop? Because the tube is now open, does it stay open? Is there something I can do to keep my tube open? All these tests are taking a toll on me emotionally. I need some kind of reassurance and support. I want to so much to get pregnant. What do you think my chances are?
