Ultrassound ConsultationFrom: Cassandra (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 30 Apr 2001 23:09:30 -0500
Okay yesterday I submitted a question regarding an abnormal ultrasound and my explanation of what I was told was a poor attempt. So I had my office fax the exact wordage over and here it is. Any suggestion or clarification would be great. No enlargement is seen of the fetal cerebral lateral ventricles, which measures 4.6 mm in diameter. The cisterna magna may be slightly small, measuring 1.8mm. No malformation is suggested of thefetal cerebral shape, however the cerebellum does not appear to be flattened or absent and measures 1.8 cm in width. Other impressions: The HC/AC ratio is slightly elevated and the cisterna magna size appears small. If anyone can put this is simple understandable terms, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Cassandra
