Am I Ovulating Properly?

I just got off the phone with my Ob/Gyn and he said that I may not be ovulating properly, according to my last U/S. (We have been ttc since December.) He said that the ultrasound (done 2 days prior to ovulation) shows one cyst in each of my ovaries, and that looks like I may not be ovulating well. I do have regular, 25-26 day cycles. I get LH surge via OPK, and I have temperature shifts (when I do my temps...every few months).

This does not make since to me. He said I am not polycystic. When I told him that I did not understand, he explained about getting the cyst every month around ovulation, and it turns into an ovum. But, just because I have cysts in both my ovaries, how can that mean I am not ovulating?

We are going to do a follow-up u/s this next month if I am not pregnant, one to two days prior to ovulation.

I don't get it. Can someone please translate?

Thank you!!!
