Previous message: Karyn: "Re: Possible miscarriage" I recently experienced my 3rd miscarriage (within 8 months) after already having 2 successful pregnancies. Fetal testing was done and it came back showing that in all cells tested chromosome 1 was missing. I know each chromosome has a "duty" in our genetic make up but I am unable to what the job of chromosome 1 is. I have tried to use different research quearies on the internet, but have uncovered nothing. I have an appointment with a genetic counselor on Monday, but i would like to find out more about chromosome 1 before then if I can. Any information you could provide me about it would be appreciated. Also, could this be a one time thing, or could it be a recuring problem and I was just very luck to have my 2 children? Thank you.
