A week ago I miscarried a fetus, but the u/s showed that there was a healthy one. Last Monday, at 6.5 weeks, we saw a healthy heartbeat. This Monday I went to my RE for another u/s and while the fetus grew to the appropriate size, no heartbeat was detected. My RE said that there is a possibility that the fetus is in such a position that the u/s is unable to read the heartbeat and said that I should come back in 3 days for another u/s. What I was wondering is, what are the chances that there will be a heartbeat on Thursday? Thanks for your time.
