You are either experiencing implantation bleeding, sometimes when the embryo implants it can disrupt vessels in the uterus thus causing bleeding. Or, you are suffering a very early miscarriage. The embryo implanted, but something was not right, and a miscarriage happened. This is very common, I suspect I had two of these before I got pregnant with this baby.

You'll go into the doctor's office and get a blood test, and maybe repeat it in 48 hours, and that will tell you for sure what is happening.
