triplet pregnancy questionFrom: Sabrena (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 27 Apr 2001 22:07:55 -0500 (CDT)
I have a question on triplet pregnancy.....history 1st u/s showed 2 sacs one questionable yolk 5w2d 2nd u/s showed 2 sacs still one definite yolk other sac appeared empty 5w6d 3rd u/s showed 2 sacs and 2 babies both with heartbeats 7w0d 4th u/s showed 2 sacs, 3 babies!! 2 are monochorionic, diamniotic, one by itself all 3 have heartbeats, babies measure 8w1d,8w2d and 7w3d. My question is what are the chances of all 3 babies making it(meaning not vanishing) now that we have seen heartbeats on all 3 twice...by the way, during 3rd u/s in retrospect you can see the smaller baby "hiding" but with a definite visible heartbeat, OB confirmed.
