I am not a doctor, but had reflux so bad in my pregnancy I was throwing up 25+ times/day. My doctors (GI and OB) prescirbed prevacid and pepcid as well as gaviscon. I know that xantac adn pepcid are considered safe. I was also on Carafate and zofran, and those are safe, but only necessary because my reflux was so severe. Good Luck! Amy Ethan 9/11/00
