Probably, but it may also not have enough folic acid in it. One should take 0.4 mg of folic acid daily for 3 months prior to and the first 3 months after conception. This decreases the chance of having a baby with a neural tube defect.

Other than that unless the Mother has scurvy, ricketts, or some other vitamin deficiency, no other vitamins are needed prior to conception.
