Lower uterine segment band? I'm hoping you can just give me a bit of information - I had my 20-week appointment last night and my midwife was showing me the report from my 18-week ultrasound (done at an outside lab). One of the statements on the report mentioned something about a "lower uterine segment band" [or was it band segment?] being detached or outside of the fetus? Unfortunately, I don't remember the exact wording... but it did say at the bottom of the report that they did NOT consider this to be "clinically significant". My midwife had never heard of this before so couldn't tell me much. Do you have any information on this?
