I was wondering is Ultram any better/worse than codeine during pregnancy? I currently take tylenol#3 occasionally for bad pain in my back and a pinched nerve. It doesnt' really help much though. I have had better luck in the past with Ultram for pain and was thinking of asking my ob if I could switch. But I know he seems to think narcotics are the safest pain remedy during pregnancy. I know codeine has been around longer and they are both category C. Any opinions? Thanks. Liz
