My OB thinks tape measurement of my belly is sufficient enough to determine the size of the baby and if there is concern of excess amntioc fluid. I will not get another u/s until 36 weeks. I thought u/s were routine when you have gestational diabetes? Are tape measurements that accurate? How common is it to have a large baby? Thank you very much for this valuable board.
