The only thing that I can tell you is that I was only 5 weeks and had an hCG of 17,000, so that is not always an accurate way of telling how far along you are. Ultrasound usually calculate everything electronically. It takes the measurements of the baby and the sac and calculate a due date according to that. They are usually only off about 3 to 4 days. Your GP could be going off of your last period, which is not always accurate in dating purposes. You could have conceived later than you had thought etc. I would suggest going off of the ultrasound.
