It is the only treatment that helped me, but it is not the only treatment that has been effective for others. Ultrasound is not a good diagnostic for endo, only laparoscopic surgery and pathology of samples can definitively diagnose endo. Aleve will help with the pain, but you might develop a tolerance for the medicine like I did, and it could quit working. If you do have endo, you can find a specialist to help you. I went undiagnosed for 20 years before the pain became so severe that I could no longer function normally. Antidepressants did not help me, since my depression was a result of the constant pain I was in. Please try to find help, one way or another.
