Angela, Re: Breast Soreness and Heavy Bloating last 3 cycles at 2 dpoFrom: Laura (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 18 Apr 2001 17:26:19 -0500 (CDT)
I too had a miscarriage (naturally, no D&C either) at 7 weeks a year ago. I also am very bloated very soon after my LH surge (using ovulation predictor monitor. My doctor says this is ovulation pains... I feel like I'm carrying cannonballs in my belly... she says it is not related to the miscarriage... it lasts anywhere from 3 to 7 days... As for how to relieve it? Hot baths, heating pad and ibuprofen helped in the past... BUT since TTC you CANNOT utilize any of these methods... so i'm looking out for postings like you... just wanted to let you know that you're not alone... hang in there.... By the way, TTC for me has been very distressing, especially since I had gotten pregnant the first time we tried, unfortunately miscarried, and haven't been able to conceive yet... my doctor has me on my third cycle of clomid, got good progesterone results, 69ng/ml this month... so cross your fingers for me... also my doctor has me on Prozac for the depression... Please see your doctor about your sadness... an anti-depressant can bring a little (if not complete) relief in these trying times.... are far as safety goes, she has many patients on different anti-depressants and no one has experienced any bad affects, nor has she ever read about any... it's much better to take the risk, than risking suicide when you're really down....
