Amy; I also have SLE . I have been ttc for over 10 months now... and am in partial remission.. (off all meds for 1 year) Just wanted to say hello.. and know that you are not alone. My doctor weaned me off plaquenil as he said it may have some affect on defects on a fetus. I am happy i have a VERY good doc. I would maybe try to stay with the prednisone when ttc .. like DR. Montgomery says.. also plaquenil can take up to 12 weeks to start working... it took me 12 weeks to the day to feel relief.... when i was on it. I WISH YOU ALL THE LUCK IN YOUR TTC . ((((hugs)))) Lana
