Oh the docs will love me, but here it goes:

To see your cervix, all you need is a flashlight, a mirror, and a speculum. You can get one for $10 at http://www.fwhc.org/sale.htm#Tools

I've been checking my cervix for over 2 months now just to figure out my cycle off pill (can't do BBT due to crazy work schedule), and while not 100% helpful (while I'm fertile, my cervix is too high up even to see it with the spec, but that's a sign in itself), it's fascinating. Even for a non-tree-hugging, red-meat-eating, leg-shaving woman like myself.
