miscarriage pushing ovulation back? Reply: William F. von Almen, II, MD, FACOG: "Re: miscarriage pushing ovulation back?" I am 22, healthy three year old, and two recent miscarriages (one a D&E). I had some bad cramping, had a vaginal ultrasound in which a sac was shown measuring 5 weeks. Dr. said too early to see anything else. I had miscarriage at 5 weeks which was my previous period 6 weeks ago. Is is possible that the miscarriage pushed back my ovulation so I am only measuring 5 weeks instead of 6? Is this okay? In one week, 3 days should i be able to see heartbeat on vaginal u/s ? Progesterone was 42 one week and 34 next week. Is this drop okay? Thankyou very much.
