I am 32 weeks pg and had a vaginal exam done today. She told me that externally I was 2-3 cm dilated and internally a fingertip.She put me on total bedrest and said no walking. What exactly is the difference between an internal and external os? Is this a change in my cervix that could bring on labor? Thanks
