I am 12 weeks pregnant and my doctor has recently put me on amoxicillin for a bladder infection (although I had no symptoms). I read several responses to other letters on this site which claimed amoxicillin to be safe during pregnancy; however, my dosage seems high. 500 mg four times a day. Is this still safe at such a high dosage?
